Delivery & Packaging

We deliver equipment across South Africa using a combination of courier and freight services. Delivery method is selected based on the size, weight, and nature of the product to ensure safe and reliable transport.

Standard Delivery

Smaller and medium-sized items are shipped using The Courier Guy.

This includes:

  • EDM Tap Removers
  • Electric and Pneumatic Tapping Arms
  • Tool Support Arms
  • Accessories
 

Typical delivery time is 2–4 working days depending on location.

Free Delivery

We offer free delivery on orders over R2500 for standard items shipped via courier.

For larger or heavy items, delivery may still be charged depending on:

  • Size and weight
  • Delivery location
  • Special handling requirements
 

While we aim to absorb delivery costs wherever possible, certain conditions may limit our ability to do so. In such cases, delivery will be quoted separately and confirmed with the customer before dispatch.

Courier Limits

Courier deliveries are subject to the following general limits:

  • Maximum weight: 50 kg
  • Maximum size: approximately 1m × 1m × 1m
 

Items exceeding these limits will be shipped using alternative freight methods.

Heavy and Oversized Items

Larger products, such as workshop benches and other heavy equipment, are delivered using pallet freight or dedicated transport.

These items:

  • Are securely packaged on pallets
  • Are transported via long-distance freight between major hubs
  • Are delivered to the customer using local delivery vehicles
 

Delivery for these items is quoted separately based on:

  • Delivery location
  • Size and weight
  • Access to the delivery site
 

Customers must ensure that adequate offloading arrangements are available at the delivery address. Assistance such as a forklift or additional labour may be required.

Delivery Process for Large Items

Heavy equipment is typically transported using a hub-based freight system. The product is collected, transported to a regional depot, moved via linehaul transport to the destination city, and then delivered locally to the customer.

This method ensures safe handling and cost-effective delivery over long distances.

Packaging

All equipment is packaged to withstand normal transport conditions and to protect against damage during handling and transit.

Depending on the product, packaging may include:

  • Heavy-duty cartons
  • Protective foam and internal supports
  • Bubble wrapping and edge protection
  • Wooden crates for sensitive equipment
  • Palletized loads for heavy or oversized items
 

Proper packaging is essential to ensure safe delivery. Care should be taken during unloading and handling at the destination.

Important Information

  • Delivery costs are calculated after order confirmation based on size, weight, and location
  • Customers must ensure that delivery details are accurate
  • Goods should be inspected upon delivery
  • Any damage or issues must be reported within 48 hours
